Doheny Global Group’s energy sector develops energy facilities worldwide. Doheny is active in Ukraine, Bulgaria, Latvia, Pakistan and Georgia and is continously exploring other opportunities worldwide. Doheny takes a progressive stance on providing cleaner energy, focusing on hydroelectricity, biomass and other alternative sources of energy. Further, Doheny works to help countries become energy independent. Most recently, Doheny began developing 166 megawatts of run of the river hydro electricity plants in five sites in Georgia. Not only will these run of the river plants provide a low environmental impact source of power, but they will bolster Georgia’s energy independence. This venture is supported strongly by both the Georgian and US governments.
